“A NEW PATH TO PARENTING”

MOTHERLEARNED is a parental coaching and media consulting firm that specializes in creating family-centered programming to educate and empower parents. Through the use of innovative media workshops and parental development courses, we aim to break generational cycles of poverty, trauma, and domestic violence. Founded by mother, author, and family advocate Darlene Brooks Thomas, Motherlearned was created with the goal of utilizing institutional partnerships to empower underserved communities of parents nationwide.

Since its inception in 2010, the firm has collaborated with non-profits, schools, hospitals, prisons, and prenatal programs to counsel parents “from cradle to college,” with workshops like ‘Education Readiness’ to encourage early reading and support groups for teen mothers. As a mother of four herself, Brooks Thomas has combined her extensive personal knowledge of parenthood with over 30 years of media industry experience to develop groundbreaking programming to strengthen families on an individual and community level.
